Are you a Team Leader?
Project Manager to organize, facilitate, develop and enhance a technical team of up to ten developers.
We’re currently looking for applicants who have a moderate amount of project management experience, including experience managing teams. Your must rely on your work experience and your ability to think through and solve problems both simple and complex, and apply concepts you’ve learned to newer issues as they arise. You must be a team leader that people will follow and will learn from. You have to know when to and be able to motivate, celebrate and excoriate your team as necessary to meet your deadlines and goals. You will also be the initial customer service representative for your cluster of developers. You will translate from customer-speak to developer-speak and back again.
Your skills should include
Things that you have to know:
- HTML/CSS/PHP ability to hand-edit code either locally, on the server, or through the WP backend.
- jQuery familiarity only (do you know what it is and how it’s used?), if you’ve used it, even better.
- WordPress 1+ years experience, know your way around; understand what/where/how to use the Codex. Experience in building, integrating and maintaining at least one self-hosted WordPress site.
- Familiarity/experience with Agile/SCRUM
- Ability to manage development team of up to ten people
- Enough coding experience to determine realistic task durations
- Hyper-organized
- Ability to multitask
- Near-phobia of missing deadlines
- Good written and verbal skills
- Communication with customers is essential
- Any additional tasks that may be required within the acceptable scope of your position
